Not One of Them Forgotten
The name comes from a short teaching. Two sparrows. A penny. A Father who cares.

Sparrow Golf takes its name from a few lines in Matthew. Jesus is sending his friends out into an unfriendly country, and he tells them they are not forgotten. He does it with birds. Two sparrows, sold for a penny. Not one of them falls outside the Father’s care. The hairs of a head, numbered. You are worth more than many sparrows.
We did not want a louder name than that. Golf already has enough crests shouting from a chest. A sparrow is ordinary, small, and — in the teaching — seen. That felt like the right scale for a mark on a sleeve.
Faith is the reason the house exists. It is not a range of verses printed across a back, and it is not a secret we hope nobody notices. The clothing should stand as clothing. The meaning is in the name, in the label, and in the way we hope to work.
If you only came for a polo, you are welcome to stay there. The green is enough of a reason. If you stay a little longer, the rest of the name is waiting, and it is older than the game.
FAITH IN FLIGHT.
